Name: Rio Del Toro
Age: 4 years
Breed: Kiger Mustang
Gender: Stallion
What Your trained in: As for as training, he's halter broke, greenbroke, trailers, loads, ties, and that about cuts it. Leaves a pretty blank canvas, but he's pretty athletic and can do just about anything.
Vices: A bit studdish, mouthy, can be somewhat "alpha" if you will.
Virtues: No injuries, clean legs. Awesome "Spanish" conformation. Capable of the Spanish walk.
Personality: Rio has the typical mustang personality. If he doesn't want to do something, it's not because he's afraid, but because he's asking reason why he should do it. Pretty well-behaved for a stallion, very intelligent. It may take awhile to gain his respect, but he will bond long and hard with his owner and will gladly try to protect whoever it is.
Dietary need: Has a pretty tough stomach, has been raised off of grazing and grass hay. Can eat grain, but take it slowly.
Special care needed?: Be sure you've had experience owning a stallion.
IF yes what?: Stated.
Who is selling the horse ICly?: He was range bred, so not necessarily wild, but hadn't been around people until the time he was a yearling. So... really just a typical mustang roundup.
Anything else we need to know about the horse: Key word: MUSTANG. Make sure you know the mustang psyche.
Sample post of the horse doing something:
Rio stood pretty placidly in the roundpen, hindleg thingyed in contentment. Eventually, because of the young-horse IQ and attention span he had, he began to grow bored quite quickly. He moved to the side, lifting his head over the fence. A bellowing vocalization was released, spasms of effort trembling through his burly frame. He was solid. He had a huge crest, barreled chest and pretty hefty physique in general, but he could move with the grace of an Andalusian. A gorgeous smokey grulla coloring, with the Kiger tiger stripes lacing up and down his dark-pointed legs. He was definitely a looker, and his coloring was quite treasured in the Kiger breed. He pricked his ears, awaiting a response. When he got none, he heaved a sigh and returned to the back where he stood once again, haunches facing the world. They wanted his attention? They'd have to work for it.
